I am
giddy about the opening of fishing even IF there isn't an opening of fishing anymore as Rob reminds me every year. Memorial day weekend was a great weekend for fishing. I feel sorry for any of you who didn't get to celebrate the holiday by fishing. Here are some pictures of the hooked fish.
Here is Bennett's big catch from Spanish Oaks reservoir. Wally also caught one. Grandpa John is a good fisherman and took the clan to the reservoir since the creek was running high and fast.
It might appear that Rob caught this whopper but he
didn't. It was caught by none other than
Fishn' Betty right in the middle of the reservoir while trolling with rainbow pop gear and a trailing wedding ring! It was a little cold and the water at Deer Creek was high but the day was fantastic.
