Summer has flown by for the Averett Clan. We can't believe Johnny has to go back to work today. We thought it would be nice to have one last summer outing together as a family. With it being Johnny's last official day off we thought we would let him plan our outing to Temple Square. We started off by eating lunch at The Garden. The food was delicious and the scenery breath taking. We loved eating near the spires of the Salt Lake Temple.
Next we walked around Temple Square. We admired the beauty of the Salt Lake Temple, cooled off inside the Tabernacle, had some good laughs while watching movies about "Family, isn't it about Time" and learned more about the Salt Lake Temple at their new temple exhibit.
Warren knew it was picture time once we found ourselves in the bright colors of the flower gardens. The flowers there give you a glimpse of what the Garden of Eden must have been like.We watched the workers groom the gardens, trim the trees and was stunned to see them putting Christmas lights on the trees. It must take six months to put the lights up and six months to take them down.
We increase our testimonies of Joseph Smith by attending the movie at Legacy Theater. We appreciate all the hardship the saints went through on our behalf. We hope we can exhibit that much faith throughout our lives.
What a wonderfully terrific family. The boys are so handsome. I can't believe they are getting so mature! I love all of the Averetts.
