Bennett was all smiles while spending the day at the lake. He didn't do any water
activities but he sure had a lot of fun cheering us on. My favorite saying of the day was "pitch it". We always say "hit it" when we are ready for the boat to pull us out of the water while water skiing. Bennett ended up saying "pitch it". I guess he mixed up his baseball terms.

Wally was our "
Captain" while boating. He helped Grandpa drive the boat safely around the lake. Wally also tried his skills at water skiing. Yes, Wally can officially water ski!!! Way to go Wally. Wally also caught a little fish named Jimmy with his bare hands. Who needs a fishing pole?

Warren had a lot of fun boating. He enjoyed trying to water ski. He says it isn't as scary as it looks. Warren needs one more boating trip and I know he would be able to get all the way up. Warren explored the beach looking for more fishing gear for his tackle box.

Believe it or not we had a hard time getting the boys out on the water. They worried about how fast the boat was going to go. It only took a couple of minutes for their fears to go away. Warren did all kinds of tricks while on the tube. His favorite was standing up without any hands.

I know you don't BELIEVE what you are seeing. It's true JOHNNY surprised us all by jumping into the freezing cold water at
Yuba Lake. He then shocked us more when he asked for the ski's.
Thanks for taking us boating. We enjoyed our time in the sun while making memories with the ones we love.
It was a GREAT day! Thank you for going with us.
ReplyDeleteWhat is this world coming too? Johnny skiing? and it is in cold water? Someone check if he is feeling alright!
ReplyDeleteoh how i miss boating, i can't believe that it took grams and gramps until the END of summer to take it out! the boys look like naturals out on the water and i can't believe the awesome tricks WAR-DAWG was doing! i am in love with the saying "pitch it", i think that we should change the term to that, it's much for fun.
ReplyDeleteWE NEED TO ALL PLAN A TRiP TO LAKE POWELL NEXT YEAR!!! even you cody and the baby grace.....she'll love it!
